Journey through the Loire Valley:
A Unique Wine Tasting Experience

Dear member,

Before the summer holiday begins, we are thrilled to invite you to an informal wine tasting event featuring great wines from the Loire Valley. Perrine Maulard from the esteemed Maison Orchidée will guide you through an exploration of classic French wines from this vast region, which stretches over 500 kilometers.

During this tasting, we will traverse the path of eight wines, journeying from east to west across the Loire Valley. Experience the elegance of Sancerre from Château de Sancerre, one of the few châteaux named after its appellation. Delight in the distinctive flavors of Muscadet from vineyards near the Atlantic Ocean. Savor robust reds from Chinon's Domaine de la Perruche, nestled in Montsoreau, famed for its 15th-century castle. Finally, enjoy the exquisite bubbles of Crémant de Loire from Maison Ackerman, the pioneering house of sparkling wine founded in 1811.

We look forward to sharing this afternoon of wine, knowledge, and delightful company with you.
Special offers will be presented at the tasting.

Best regards,

Maison Orchidée

Celebrating the Heritage of Loire Valley Winemaking

History

The roots of Maison Orchidée can be traced back to the 14th century with the construction of a feudal castle in Sancerre. Significant milestones include the establishment of Maison Ackerman in 1811, known for pioneering sparkling wines in the Loire Valley, and the founding of several other distinguished houses like Maison Remy Pannier in 1885 and Maison Monmousseau in 1886. In 2017, the group embraced a new identity, Orchidées, Maisons de Vin, uniting their rich heritage and innovative spirit under one name.

Today

Today, Orchidées, Maisons de Vin, stands as a symbol of elegance and tradition in the Loire Valley wine industry. The group combines historical vineyards with modern winemaking techniques, producing a diverse portfolio of still and sparkling wines. Committed to sustainable practices and quality, the group continues to promote Loire Valley wines globally, ensuring that each bottle reflects the unique terroirs and rich heritage of the region.
